make sure to get twin room with a bathroom and at least 4 beds plus modern furniture. the staff are supper friendly and accommodating and ready to help if you need anything. the ambiance is quiet.

I recently stayed at Vagnsstadir Guesthouse for 3 nights during my trip to explore the ring road in Iceland. The location was perfect for visiting Jokursalon and Vestrahorn, making it a strategic choice. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the check-in and check-out process was easy. The breakfast was delicious and there was also a fantastic restaurant located just 5 km away from the hotel.

All the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, fixed my issues.

Very good stay, as always. Fancy and exceptionally comfortable hotel located in an idyllic area not far from snow capped mountains behind and the coast in front and the glacier and the local sights such as Skaftafell and Jokullsarlon. A nice size and recently renovated room with nice bed and smoke detectors for safety measures. Coffee and tea provided. Early check-in, parking on site. Not to mention free wifi!
